Brian Boyle Earns Hockey East Player Of The Month

Boston College junior forward Brian Boyle has earned Hockey East Player of the Month honors, according to an announcement made by the conference on Wednesday.
Boyle registered 13 points - six goals and seven assists - in eight games in February. He registered multiple points in four games, including a hat trick in BC's 6-0 win over UMass-Lowell on Thursday, Feb. 23. Boyle has recorded a career-high 40 points this season. He has 17 goals and 23 assists. The Hingham, Mass., resident ranks second in the league - behind teammate Chris Collins - in points.
Boyle has tallied 75 points - 34 goals and 41 assists - in 107 career games.
Boston College, which is ranked ninth according to both major national polls, hosts No. 12 New Hampshire in Kelley Rink on Thursday, March 2 at 7:30 p.m. The Eagles and Wildcats complete the two-game series on Saturday, March 4 in Durham, N.H.
