Brooke Queenan Earns All-ACC Second-Team Honors

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Senior forward Brooke Queenan earned All-Atlantic Coast Conference second-team honors, the conference announced on Monday. Queenan led the Eagles with 14.8 points-per-game and 8.0 rebounds-per-game during the 2005-06 regular season. The West Chester, Pa., native has led the Eagles in scoring and in rebounding 14 times this season.
She recorded a career-high 25 points was in a 79-69 win over Miami on February. Queenan has tallied eight double-doubles this season. A two-time ACC Player of the Week, ranks 14th on Boston College's all-time career rebounding list with 527.
Queenan is ranked first in the ACC in defensive rebounds (5.97 rpg), third overall in rebounding (8.0 rpg) and ninth in scoring (14.8 ppg).
The Eagles are set to face Virginia in the first round of the ACC women's basketball tournament at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 2, at the Greensboro Coliseum. The winner of the game will face North Carolina on Friday, March 3 at 11:00a.m.
