Sailing Alumn Honored by NEISA

Chestnut Hill, Mass. - Former Boston College sailing team member Carrie Howe '03 was named to the New England Intercollegiate Sailing Association Honor Roll for her impact on the sport of sailing over the past year. Howe was chosen for her numerous championships in the women's sailing and the Yngling Class in 2005.
Along with her team of Sally Barkow and Debbie Capozzi, Howe won the 2005 Miami Olympic Classes Regatta, the 2005 Yngling World Championships, the 2005 Women's Match Race World Championships and the 2005 International Women's Keelboat Championships. Howe was recognized with her teammates as US Sailing's Team of the Year as they are currently the No. 1 Yngling team in the United States and No. 4 in the world.
Sophomores Alden Reid and Alan Frith were elected to the NEISA Conference Executive Committee. Reid will serve as the Conference Undergraduate Vice President while Frith will be the Central Regional Representative. Head Coach Greg Wilkinson was elected to serve his second term as Conference President.
