Junior forward Charlie Davies tied the score early in the second half but Brown sophomore Dylan Sheenan scored in the 60th minute to snap the 1-1 tie and lead No. 21 Brown University to a 2-1 non-conference road victory over Boston College before 583 fans at the Newton Campus Soccer Field on Tuesday night.

The Eagles (6-5-0) responded shortly after halftime when Davies scored his 12th goal of the season at 48:48. Sophomore Reuben Ayarna and junior Sherron Manswell assisted on the play.
Sheehan put the visiting Bears up for good when he finished a touch pass in front of the net from freshman Nick Elenz-Martin at 60 minutes. The goal marked his second of the season.
Brown senior goalkeeper David Semenza recorded one save to earn his second victory of the season.
Each team recorded six shots in the game. Boston College held a 4-3 advantage in corner kicks.
BC junior goalkeeper Chris Brown recorded one save in the defeat.
Game Notes: With one goal, Davies has recorded 29 points -- 12 goals and five assists -- this season, breaking the school's single-season record of 28 formerly shared by All-American Casey Schmidt (2002) and Brian Siracusa (1993) ... His 12 goals in 2006 mark the highest single-season total since BC record-holder Charlie Mundhenk scored 13 times in 1970.
