Kerrville, Texas - The Boston College men's golf team finished seventh at the Roadrunner (UTSA) Invitational hosted by the University of Texas-San Antonio. The Eagles finished with a three round score of 876. Southeastern Louisiana won the invitational with 846 points, while Sam Houston State (855), St. John's (863), Texas-San Antonio (866) and Western Kentucky (871) rounded out the top five. There were 11 competing schools at the two-day meet.
The Eagles were led by junior Bob Reed, who placed ninth overall, shooting a team-best round of 66 and a three-round score of 216. Junior Alex Snickenberger placed 14th, shooting 218.
Senior Kyle Kelly and junior Jim Granello tied for 31st with a score of 222, and freshman Jan Prokop rounded out the Eagle competitors with a score of 227.
The men's golf team will finish out their fall schedule at the Seascape Invitational in Kitty Hawk, N.C. on October 30 and 31.
