ACC Select To Broadcast This Weekend's Hockey Games

The ACC has teamed up with Turner Sports to create ACC Select, a broadband video initiative designed to provide more coverage of ACC sports, and is set to broadcast both Boston College men's hockey games this weekend. The Eagles host Notre Dame (Friday, Oct. 20) and Bowling Green (Saturday, Oct. 21).

ACC Select will produce more than 20 events on BC's campus in 2006-07. ACC Select is a new broadband experience that gives you the best seat in the house for the sports you love, the team you care about and the games you can't see anywhere else. With full-screen video delivered right to your computer, you'll feel like you're actually at the event. Plus, you can catch the action whenever and wherever you want because you can watch events live - or later with on-demand replay that you can enjoy on your own time.
Consumers can watch events live or on-demand replay on a per-event basis ($3.99 per event) or with a conference all-event pass. The all-event pass will premiere at an introductory price of $5.99 per month. The new service launched September 15 and is currently offering a 15-day free trial service.
