Women's Cross Country Ranked 28th in Nation

Chestnut Hill, Mass. - Boston College women's cross country is ranked 28th in the nation following their impressive showing at the Pre-Nationals, where they finished 12th overall. The Eagles move up to number 28 in the USTFCCA poll with 35 points, and are now one of six Atlantic Coast Conference members to be ranked in the poll (NC State, Florida State, Duke, Virginia and Virginia Tech.)
The women's cross country team is also rated fourth in the northeast, behind only Providence, Iona, and Boston University. The Eagles will compete again on Sunday, October 22 at Franklin Park in Boston in the Mayor's Cup before heading to Charlottesville, Va. for the ACC Championships on Saturday, October 28.
