Quandt Earns Hockey East Player of the Week

Chestnut Hill, Mass. - Senior co-captain Alison Quandt has earned the Hockey East Player of the Week for Jan. 23 after totaling 78 saves on 82 shots faced over four straight league wins. Quandt earned her first shutout of the year against Vermont on Monday, Jan. 16. This is the second time she has earned Hockey East Player of the Week this season.
Quandt has totaled 18 or more saves in eight of the last nine games she has played in to help the Eagles solidify their first place ranking in the Hockey East standings.
Sophomore Sarah Feldman was named to the Hockey East honor roll this week for the third time after scoring eight points on two goals and six assists during the team's streak of seven. Feldman is second on the team in points this season (23) with 11 goals and 12 assists.
The Eagles take a break from Hockey East play as they host No. 6 Mercyhurst on Saturday at Kelley Rink. The puck drops at 7 p.m.
