CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - The Boston College men's ice hockey team will open the 2005-06 campaign with road games at Michigan, Bowling Green and Northeastern before it hosts Maine in the home opener on Friday, Oct. 28, according to the schedule the school announced on Tuesday.

Boston College, the three-time defending Hockey East regular-season champion, will participate in the Denver Cup alongside Ferris State, Princeton and perennial power Denver. The tournament will be held in Denver's Magness Arena on Dec. 30-31.

Boston College and Northeastern will kick off the 54th Annual Beanpot, which will be hosted at the TD Banknorth Garden (formerly the FleetCenter) on Monday, Feb. 6, and Monday, Feb. 13.
