Men's Cross Country Places 24th at Roy Griak Invitational

Falcon Heights, Minn. - The men's cross country team competed in the annual Roy Griak Invitational, hosted by the University of Minnesota on Saturday, September 24. Sophomore Patrick Mellea placed 89th overall.
Mellea completed the course in 25 minutes, 48 seconds, as BC's top finisher. Captain Mark Alizzi was the second BC runner to palce, crossing the line in 25:59.
Freshman Timothy Ritchie was the third Eagle to cross the line, and he finished the course in 26:08.
Sophomore Dan Springer ran the course in 26:18, while senior Joseph Lesniak rounded out the top five runners for BC with a time of 26:56.
Next up for the Eagles is on Oct. 1, when they travel to Orono, Maine for the Murray Keating Invitational.
