Chestnut Hill, Mass. - Boston College won their second consecutive scrimmage with a 1-0 win over Ivy League foe Dartmouth at Newton Campus Field.
Both teams brought a high level of intensity, but it was the Eagles that supplied the only goal of the game at 21:52 of the second half.
Freshman Stephen Hepburn redirected a Hadrien Toure corner kick towards the net and before the ball could be cleared, fellow freshman Justin Flood headed the rebound underneath the crossbar for the winner. Flood contributed an assist in the 3-0 against St. John's on Wednesday.
The Eagles begin regular season play Thursday at Farleigh Dickinson. The home slate begins Wednesday, September 7 against Quinnipiac at 4 p.m.
