
Women's Tennis Earns ITA All-Academic Team Honors

The Boston College women's tennis team earned 2005 ITA Division I All-Academic Team honors, according to an announcement made by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association. Senior Amy Molden, junior Szilvia Szegedi, sophomore Lindsey Nash and freshman Caitlin Arnould earned ITA Division I Scholar-Athlete honors.
This marks the second consecutive season in which Molden has garnered ITA Scholar-Athlete accolades. Molden was recognized for her accomplishments in 2004 with Emily Hellberg.
Criteria for the ITA All-Academic Team include a cumulative team grade point average of 3.20 or above (on a 4.00 scale). In order to earn ITA Scholar-Athlete status, a player must be a varsity letter winner, have a grade point average of at least a 3.50 (on a 4.00 scale) for the current academic year and have been enrolled at her present school for at least two semesters.
