Varsity Eight Second At ECAC Metro Championships

The Boston College rowing program continued its recent surge on Sunday, earning a second-place finish and a silver medal in the varsity eight at the ECAC Metro Championships.

After almost every other race was cancelled due to poor weather conditions, the Eagles were able to race in the varsity eight as the winds died down and before dark set in on Sunday evening.

The Eagles finished with a time of 6 minutes, 43.09 seconds, just behind the crew from Massachusetts and in front of a boat from Rhode Island that had beaten them earlier in the season.
