Men's Track Finishes Seventh At Brown Invitational

Boston College had three of the top-five finishers in the 800-meter run at the Brown Invitational on Saturday, earning 20 total points. BC finished seventh overall in the meet.
Freshman Frank DiVittorio won the 800 in 1 minute, 52.47 seconds, running BC's fastest time of the season on the way to victory. Classmates Patrick Mellea and Jeremy Zagorski finished third and fifth, respectively, in the race.
Seniors Trevor Rozier-Byrd and Drew Bouchard came in first and second, respectively, in the 3,000-meter steeplechase. Rozier-Byrd finished in 9:14.60 and Bouchard crossed the line at 9:18.02.
Senior Geoff Atkins finished third in the 400 meters with a mark of 49.99. Christopher Caulfield earned two points with a seventh-place finish in the event.
Sophomore Seren Ozcan was sixth in the 400-meter hurdles with a mark of 57.31.
