
Men's Tennis Defeats Rutgers, 5-2

The men's tennis team finished its regular season on a high note Sunday, defeating Big East rival Rutgers, 5-2, in Piscataway, N.J.
Sophomore Soma Kesthely cruised at No. 1 singles, dropping just one game en route to a 6-1, 6-0 victory over Tyler Deming. Senior Chris McCoy won in the No. 2 slot over Gordie Milchutsky, 6-2, 6-2.
Freshman Jason Sechrist saw his 10-match winning streak come to an end with a straight-set defeat at No. 4 singles.
Freshmen Chris Louis and Geoff Mueller were victorious at No. 5 and No. 6 singles, respectively.
The Eagles (11-11, 3-1) swept all three doubles matches to claim the first point of the day.
