Men's Tennis Falls To St. John's, 4-1

The second-seeded men's tennis team lost in the Big East Tournament semifinals on Friday, falling to No. 3 Rutgers, 4-1, in Tampa, Fla.
Freshman Chris Louis won BC's lone match of the day with a 6-4, 6-2 victory at No. 5 singles. Sophomore Soma Kesthely was on the verge of a straight-set win but was unable to finish as Rutgers clinched the victory.
The Eagles dropped the first point of the afternoon after Rutgers swept the doubles matches.
BC will take on No. 5 St. John's in Saturday's consolation match at 8:30 a.m.
