
Men's Tennis Climbs Back To .500

With a resounding 5-2 victory over Assumption College on Wednesday, the men's tennis team improved to 10-10, getting back to .500 for the first time since February 5.
Freshman Jason Sechrist won his ninth consecutive singles match for BC and improves to 15-11 on the season. Sechrist defeated James Newman in the No. 4 position, 6-1, 6-3.
Sophomore Soma Kesthely won a hard-fought battle at No. 1 singles, outlasting Michael Goldman, 6-3, 1-6, 6-1. Senior Chris McCoy won in the No. 2 slot over Antonio Recalde, 6-2, 6-0. Both players have won eight of their last nine singles matches.
Freshman Chris Louis won a three-set match at No. 5 singles and sophomore Dennis Reardon won in straight sets at No. 6.
Assumption won two of the three doubles matches to take the first point of the day.
