DiVittorio Leads Eagles At UNH Invitational

Freshman Frank DiVittorio finished second in the 1,500-meter run and third in the 800 meters as he led Boston College at the UNH Invitational on Saturday.
DiVittorio won his heat in the 800 with a time of 1 minute and 57 seconds. He ran the 1,500 in 3:55.84.
Freshmen Patrick Mellea and Jeremy Zagorski finished first and second, respectively, in the 5,000-meter run. Mellea won the race with a mark of 14:53.91 and Zagorski finished in 15:03.38.
Seniors Trevor Rozier-Byrd and Drew Bouchard were second and third, respectively, in the 3,000-meter steeplechase, coming in just behind New Hampshire's Anthony Truax.
Sophomore Louis Canelli won the high jump with a mark of 1.92 meters and senior Geoff Atkins was fifth in the 400-meter dash.
