Women's Track Finishes 14th At ECAC Championships

Junior Laurel Burdick and senior Maria Cicero ran the best races of their season this weekend at the ECAC Championships, finishing third and fourth, respectively, in the 3,000 meters. The duo led Boston College to a 14th-place showing at the meet.
Burdick cut nearly 14 seconds off her previous best time this season to finish with a time of 9 minutes, 29.95 seconds. Cicero finished just behind her teammate with a mark of 9:30.35. They earned 11 of BC's 19 total points at the meet. Both times were NCAA provisional qualifying marks.
Sophomore Kasey Hill had her best performance of the season in the pentathlon, finishing third with 3,644 points. Hill earned six points for the Eagles. Senior Liz Hassan was seventh in the event, with 3,359 points, and accounted for BC's final two points.
