NESN To Televise BC-Mercyhurst Hockey Game

The New England Sports Network (NESN) announced it will televise the Boston College men's ice hockey game vs. Mercyhurst College on Friday, March 25 at 4:30 p.m. from the DCU Center in Worcester. The game also will be televised by ESPNU.

Boston College earned the overall No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament. The winner of this NCAA first-round match will play the winner of Boston University-North Dakota on Saturday at 8 p.m.

BC has never played Mercyhurst, which received an automatic bid as the winner of Atlantic Hockey. This season, BC has played seven of the other 15 teams in the national tournament. The Eagles have posted an 11-3-3 mark (2-2-0 against BU and 1-0-0 against North Dakota).
