
Men's Golf Finishes Sixth At William And Mary Invitational

Freshman Alex Snickenberger's even par performance (73, 71) placed him atop the final leaderboard as the Eagle's cruised to a fifth-place finish at the William and Mary Invitational. The tournament was played at the Golden Horseshoe Gold Club, a par 72, 7,120-yard course in Williamsburg,Va.
The tournament was a career best for the first-year out of Wellesley, Mass. His best finish prior to this weekend's invitational was a ninth-place performance at the McLaughlin Cup in the fall season.
Fellow freshman Bob Reed also posted his best-career finish, coming in tied at 20th place overall at the tournament's end. He shot a 75-78 for a total of 153 in his third-ever invitational.
Captain Kyle Kelly shot an 83-77 for a 52nd-place finish in the second tournament of the spring season. Freshman Jim Granello tied Kelly, shooting 78-82-160 on the weekend.
BC's finishers are rounded out by junior Jim Roney. He shot a 79-83 for a total of 162, good for a 68th-place finish.
The men's squad, coming out hot in the spring season, will next play the Forest Oaks Invitational played in Greensboro, N.C. on April 4-5.
