Men's Tennis Loses To Central Florida, 6-1

The men's tennis team continued its recent skid, dropping its fourth consecutive match on Thursday with a 6-1 loss at Central Florida. The Eagles fall to 2-7 on the season.
Senior co-captain Chris McCoy claimed the team's lone point with a victory at No. 2 singles. McCoy defeated UCF's Simon Jaeger in straight sets, 6-4, 6-2. The senior improves to 5-1 in the No. 2 position this season.
McCoy and freshman Jason Sechrist put up a tough fight at No. 2 doubles, but eventually dropped an 8-6 decision.
BC returns to action on Friday when it takes on Eckerd at 2 p.m. in St. Petersburg, Fla.
