Men's Tennis Falls To Eckerd, 5-4

The Boston College men's tennis team finished its Florida trip with a 5-4 defeat to Division II Eckerd College on Friday.
The Eagles (2-8) won four of six singles matches, including a three-set thriller from freshman Artom Bogdanovich in the No. 4 position. Bogdanovich defeated Eckerd's David Lopez 6-7, 7-6, 7-5 for the victory.
Sophomore Soma Kesthely won at No. 1 singles and freshmen Jason Sechrist and Chris Louis won in the No.5 and 6 slots. Classmate Geoff Mueller made his debut in the No. 3 position, losing to Byron Kidd, 6-2, 6-2.
BC dropped all three doubles matches.
