Boston College standout Charlie Davies was named to the Soccer America Men's Freshman All-American team for his performance during the 2004 season. It is another in a long line of accolades for Davies, who was also named to the College Soccer News All-Freshman Team.

Davies was a member of the United States Under-20 Men's National Team that qualified in January for the 2005 FIFA World Youth Championship in Holland this summer.

The freshman helped lead BC to a berth in the NCAA Sweet 16 this past fall, registering nine goals and four assists during the season. He earned Big East Rookie of the Year and All-Big East first-team accolades for his performance.
