Women's Fencing Sweeps At Tufts

Medford, Mass. - The Boston College women's fencing team concluded its dual meet season at Tufts University on Saturday. The Eagles finished the day undefeated in the Northeast Fencing Conference competition.
With the victory the Eagles clinched second place in the conference with a 9-1 record. MIT won the conference with an undefeated mark.
The Eagles defeated five teams on the day. BC topped Tufts 17-10, Massachusetts 15-12, BU 19-8, Wellesley 17-10, and New Hampshire 18-9.
The epee fencers led the way for BC. Clara Yum was 13-2 and Tiffany White 12-1 for the Eagles.
Next weekend BC will travel to MIT for the New England Collegiate Fencing Championships.
