Patrick Eaves Earns Hockey East CCM Player Of The Month

Boston College junior Patrick Eaves earned Hockey East CCM Player of the Month honors for January, according to an announcement by the league office. Eaves received the same accolade for the month of October.
Eaves posted 16 points on seven goals and nine assists in January. He notched his ninth career multi-goal game in the win over Massachusetts on January 28 and put up five points in two games against crosstown rival Boston University. Eaves currently has an eight-game scoring streak.
This season, Eaves has 35 points on 14 goals and 21 assists. He currently leads the nation's top team in points, goals, assists, plus/minus and shots.
Goaltenders Matti Kaltiainen and Cory Schneider were named as runners-up for Goaltender of the Month and Rookie of the Month, respectively.
Top-ranked Boston College (17-3-4, 11-1-4) looks to maintain their current 13-game unbeaten streak when they travel to face Providence on Friday, February 4, at 7:00 p.m.
