
Six Women Ice Hockey Players Sign With Boston College

Chestnut Hill, Mass. - Boston College women's ice hockey head coach Tom Mutch has announced that six women's ice hockey players- three forwards, two defensemen and one goaltender, have signed national letters of intent to play for the Eagles in the 2006-07 season.
The defensemen include Gabrielle Beaudry who hails from Cortland, N.Y. and plays for the Under-19 Syracuse Stars as well as Tracy Johnson, who is one of three signees from Minnesota, who is from Plymouth, Minn. and plays for the Benilde-St Margaret's School.
The three forwards include Allison Thunstrom from Maplewood, Minn. who plays for North-St. Paul high school. Also from Minnesota is Anna McDonald from New Brighton, who plays for Totino-Grace. Kelli Stack from Brooklyn Heights, Ohio rounds out the 2010 class of forwards. She plays for the Under-19 Honeybake team.
Molly Schaus, the only signee from Massachusetts is from Natick and is a goaltender from the Deerfield Academy. Current Eagle, freshman Stephanie Olchowski also played for Deerfield Academy.
"I am very excited about the six players committed to Boston College," head coach Tom Mutch said. "They are going to make a significant difference and all bring something very unique to the team. As our program grows we will be looking for this class to be a part of that growth."
