Baseball Announces 2007 Signees

Chestnut Hill, Mass. - The Boston College Baseball team announced the 10 signees who will be joining the Eagles for the 2007 season.
The Eagles received three commitments from the state of Florida, Robbie Anston, an outfielder from Sickles High in Odessa, Raffi Lopez, an infielder from Summit Christian in Wellington, and a catcher, Jorge "Tony" Sanchez from Killian Senior in Miami.
Two local products, Sam Shaughnessy, an outfielder/first baseman from Newton North High School and Chris Kowalski, also an outfielder/first baseman from Roxbury Latin join the Eagles.
Pitchers Dane Clemens from Pelham Memorial in Pelham, N.Y. and Trent Kavanagh from Pittsburg High School in Pittsburg, Kan. were also added.
Michael Belfiore, an outfielder/pitcher from Commack High in Commack N.Y., Geoff Oxley, a pitcher/first baseman from FJ Retiz High School in Evansville, Ind. and Mike Sudol an outfielder from Walkill Valley Regional in Franklin N.J. round out the list of signees.
