Cary, N.C. - Hadrien Toure notched his fourth goal of the season, but the Boston College men's soccer team dropped a 3-1 decision to North Carolina State in Cary, N.C.
Both teams sat through a 25 minute rain delay, but neither team wasted time getting on the scoreboard.
John Queely assisted on Aaron King's 12th goal of the year in the 14th minute for the Wolfpack. The Eagles answered less than a minute later when freshman Reuben Ayarna won a ball at midfield and found Hadrien Toure who made his way into the box and added his fourth goal of the year to tie it at 1-1.
The game went into the half tied, but Aaron King broke the tie in the 64th minute with his ACC-leading 13th goal of the season.
The insurance goal came in the 73rd minute when El Hadj Cisse beat keeper Issey Maholo with a blast into the left corner.
The Eagles put pressure on N.C. State, recording a total of 14 shots, but were not able to break through.
The Eagles return home Wednesday to take on Yale at Newton Campus Field at 7 p.m.
