Men's Golf Finishes Ninth at Joe Agee Invitational

Williamsburg, Va. - The men's golf team placed ninth at the Joe Agee Invitational played on Monday, Oct. 3 and Tuesday, Oct. 4. Sophomore Bob Reed tied for second place out of a field of 63 golfers. The Eagles placed two golfers in the top-20 with Reed and sophomore Alex Snickenberger tied for 18th.
The Eagles played on a par-72 course, which covered 6,868 yards. The Joe Agee Invitational was a three round event.
Reed shot a 72-68-73--213 to put him in a four-way tie for second place. Snickenberger shot a 79-71-70--220 during the three-round event.
Sophomore Jim Granello came in tied for 41st for the Eagles, while Phil Holden placed tied for 55th. Tim Holden finished 61st.
The Eagles tee-off again on Monday, Oct. 17 at the Pirate Invitational in Greenville, N.C.
