Women's Cross Country Recognized in National Poll

Chestnut Hill, Mass. - The women's cross country team was recognized by the Women's Cross Country Coaches Association in the FinishLynx weekly poll. The Eagles ranked 26th. This is their first appearance in the polls this season.
Most recently the women's squad traveled to Orono, Maine to run in the Murray Keatinge Invitational. There they placed second out of ten teams. Senior co-captain Laurel Burdick placed third out of 92 runners.
Burdick ran the course in 16 minutes, 52.20 seconds. The course was five kilometers.
Coming up for the Eagles is the NCAA Pre-Meet in Terre Haute, Ind., on Oct. 15.
