After dropping the first game 30-20, the Eagles came roaring back into the second game and took the game, 33-31 after battling back and forth throughout the entire game.
In the third game, BC came out strong but the Tarheels were relentless and went on a 6-0 run to bring the score to 27-20. Although BC would battle for their next seven points, North Carolina would not be overcome and took the third game.
The fourth game was more back and forth play between the two teams. The Eagles led at 26-25 in the game but the Tarheels would eventually pull away and take the game and the match 30-28.
Despite the loss the Eagles look to build on their strong showing against the Tarheels as they go on the road next weekend to take on conference opponents Florida State and Miami on Oct. 28 and Oct. 30.
