Quandt Named Hockey East Defensive Player Of The Week

Wakefield, Mass. - Alison Quandt was named Hockey East Defensive Player of the Week in an announcement made by the conference office on Monday afternoon. The junior made 24 saves in the 2-2 tie against No. 5 New Hampshire on Saturday afternoon.
Quandt earns Player of the Week honors for the second straight week. Last weekend she stopped a combined 61 of 62 shots on goal in a two-game series with Clarkson. Quandt has gone 2-1-2 and allowed only five goals in her last five contests. The junior posts a goals against average of 2.77 and a save percentage of .889.
BC (5-11-3) will host Hockey East opponent Northeastern on Saturday, January 15 at 2 p.m.
