Dan Bertram Invited To Hockey Canada's Selection Camp

Dan Bertram, a 5-foot-11-inch, 175-pound forward from Calgary, Alberta, who recently signed a national letter of intent to play hockey at Boston College, has been invited to attend Canada's National Under-18 Summer Team Selection and Development Camp. The announcement was made by Hockey Canada and the Canadian Hockey League.
The camp, which will run from July 31-August 6 at the Father David Bauer Olympic Arena in Calgary, will be used to select players for Canada's National Under-18 Summer Team. Twenty-two of the 40 players at camp will be selected to the Under-18 Summer Team, which will participate in the U-18 Junior World Cup in Breclav, Czech Republic and Piestany, Slovakia from August 10-15.
Bertram, who will enroll at Boston College this fall, registered 55 points - 22 goals and 33 assists - as a forward with the Camrose Kodiaks in 2003-04. He earned Alberta Junior Hockey League Rookie of the Year honors.
