Women's Rowing Heads To Henley, England

The Boston College women's rowing team, led by head coach Steve Fiske, will compete in two regattas in Henley, England later this month and early in July.
The trip to England will mark the first time in the history of the BC program that the team has competed at the prestigious venue. Racing will take place on the Thames River in Henley, England.
First, BC will participate in the 17th Henley Women's Regatta from June 18-20. Competing for the Eagles in the "Elite Eight" event will be freshmen Claire Arpin and Karen Hill; sophomores Kate Donovan and Liz Millar; juniors Laura Bustos and Tess Casey; and seniors Steph Guertin, Anne Nelson and Katie Stainken. BC will be represented in the "Senior Four" event by a crew made up of sophomores Sarah Burns and Betsy Juarez and juniors Amy Boyle, Kendall Hoekstra and Lindsay Jansen.

Just more than one week later, the Eagles will return to competition at the Henley Royal Regatta, which runs from June 30-July 4. Only the Eagles' "Elite Eight" crew will return to action in this regatta.
