Two Recruits to Join 2004 Squad

Incoming freshmen Abigail Hasebroock (Omaha, Neb.) and Kelsey Johnson (Las Vegas, Nev.) will join the 2004 Boston College volleyball squad which returns all 11 players from the 2003 Eagle team that went 17-12 overall.
Hasebroock was a four-year varsity volleyball starter and captain her senior season when she led the Duschesne Academy squad in the kills, blocks, and service aces categories. She also topped the Class B in hitting efficiency. Named to the all-metro first team, all-state second team and all-conference first team in her final high school campaign, the 6-0 middle hitter also earned a varsity letter in swimming and participated on the junior varsity tennis squad where she went undefeated in the no. 1 singles and doubles spots.
Johnson, a 6-0 outside hitter, played volleyball at Durango High School and attended Advanced Technologies High School. She also participated on the Nevada Juniors club volleyball squad. The two-sport athlete set a Nevada high school high jump record her freshman year and won two silver medals for high jump in the USA Track and Field Nationals Competition.
