St. Lucia, Breaznell Earn Lacrosse All-Conference Accolades

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Boston College junior midfielder Carley St. Lucia (Delmar, N.Y.) has been named to the All-BIG EAST First Team and junior attacker Susie Breaznell (Delmar, N.Y.) received second-team recognition the league announced on Monday.
St. Lucia started 16 of 17 games for the Eagles this spring. She concluded the 2004 campaign tied with Breaznell for a team-high 38 points - 26 goals, 12 assists. St. Lucia led the team in draw controls (26) and ground balls (42). Also an outstanding student, St. Lucia has received the Athletic Director's Award for Academic Achievement each of her three years at the Heights.
Breaznell tallied a team-high 35 goals and three assists in 17 games this season. Her 35 goals are good enough for seventh overall in the BIG EAST. The junior recorded five of the team's six game-winning goals in 2004.
Both are products of Delmar, N.Y. The awards mark the first conference accolade for each.
