The Boston College Women's Volleyball team concluded spring play this past weekend at the University of New Hampshire Spring Tournament. The Eagles climaxed their already successful spring season with their second consecutive tournament championship in as many weeks.
BC came out strong in their first match, by taking both games 30-26, 30-24 over the UNH Alumni team. The momentum carried over into their next match against UNH when the Eagles won game one, 30-22 but BC could not hold on and dropped a close game two with a score of 27-30. The Eagles split their last match in the pool play to Dartmouth with a score of 30-17 and 22-30, managing to grab the first seed in the playoff bracket by earning the largest point differential in pool play.
In the first playoff game, BC defeated rival UNH, 30-25, to win the match and secure a spot in the championship match against the UNH Alumni Team where the Eagles cruised to the 30-19 victorious decision.
