Men's Soccer Signs High School All-American Charlie Davies

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Charlie Davies, a member of the US Under-18 National Soccer Team and standout at Brooks School in North Andover, Mass., has recently signed a national letter-of-intent to play soccer at Boston College in 2004, according to BC Head Coach Ed Kelly.
Davies, a resident of Manchester, N.H., earned 2003 All-America honors from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA). He has left his name all over the Independent School League record books in his four years at Brooks. He is a four-time ISL All-Star and led the league in scoring his junior and senior seasons. He recorded 30 goals and 70 points in 2003, setting league marks in both categories. Davies completed his career with 101 goals.
Davies is also an accomplished wrestler, being a two-time ISL and New England champion and 2002 All-American.
