CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - 46th-ranked Boston College defeated Yale, 7-0, to capture its fourth-straight home win, Saturday, at the Flynn Recreation Complex. The Eagles improve to 9-5 overall and have won all five match-ups against Ivy League opponents this spring.
In singles play, Nida Waseem (Karachi, Pakistan) earned her fifth-straight win defeating Reshmi Srinath in three sets, 3-6, 6-1, 6-3, at the no.3 singles spot. Morgan Landes (Huron, Ohio) and Lindsey Nash (Temecula, Calif.) also won in three sets.
Amy Molden (El Cajon, Calif.) captured her seventh straight win while Szilvia Szegedi (Dumakeszi, Hungary ) won her fourth straight at no. 1. Each advanced in straight sets. Allison Ashley (Chestnut Hill, Mass.) beat Karlyn Martin, 6-1, 6-1.
Boston College travels to Syracuse Saturday, April 3 to face the Orange. The match begins at Noon.
