CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - The Boston College women's tennis team earned its third victory of the week by blanking Ivy League opponent Brown, 5-0, Sunday afternoon at the Flynn Recreation Complex.
The Eagles swept all three doubles matches and five singles matches to earn its second 6-0 decision of the week. Szilvia Szegedi (Dumakeszi, Hungary), Allison Ashley (Chestnut Hill, Mass.), Nida Waseem (Karachi, Pakistan) and Morgan Landes (Huron, Ohio) captured straight-set singles victories.
The win improves the Boston College's record to 8-5 overall.
The Eagles return to action on Saturday, March 27 when they host Yale at 11:00 a.m.
