Women's XC Recognized In National Poll

In the FinishLynx NCAA Division I Women's Cross Country National Poll released on October 18, Boston College was ranked at 25th in the country. BC received 72 points in the poll, finishing just above UCLA.

The Eagles have posted impressive finishes in their last two team races. BC notched a second-place finish at the Murray Keating Invitational on October 2. This was BC's best finish of the 2004 season.

The next meet was the National Invitational held at Penn St. Of the 38 other teams running, the Eagles finished fourth overall.

This Friday, the women's team will run at the BIG EAST Championship at Franklin Park, Boston. The race will begin at 11:50 a.m.
