Men's Golf Tee Off At NEIGA Championships

Men's golf came in at ninth out of 46 teams in the NEIGA Championships this weekend in Brewster, Mass. Kyle Kelly shot a plus-5, 148 in the two-round tournament to place fourth overall and lead the way for BC. UCONN won the tournament overall.
Kelly shot a +5 in the first round, then dropped down and fired a par in his final round. He tied for fourth place with Bryant College's Dave Falcucci.
Jim Roney came in next for BC. He shot a 77 and a 79 for a total of 156 strokes which landed him at 24th overall.
Freshman Alex Snickenberger shot a plus-22 for 90th overall.
Rounding out the BC finishers were Jim Granello and Tim Holden. Granello shot a plus-25 for 123rd place and Holden shot a plus-32 which landed him at 179th overall.
This tournament was the last of the fall season for the men. They resume play next March.
