Men's XC Takes Tenth At Nationals

Adam Moitoso ran a 26:12 to place him 20th overall and boosted the Eagles to a 10th place finish this weekend at the National Invitational. The event, held at Penn. State, featured 38 teams and 322 runners.
Behind Moitoso was senior captain Drew Bouchard. He came in 15 seconds behind BC's leader (26:27) and placed 28th overall.
Sophomore Mark Alizzi and freshman Jason Croft were next to cross the finish line. Alizzi ran a 26:40, good for 49th place. Croft came in at 27:19 which slotted him at 111th.
Stephen Walsh, Joe Lesniak, and Trevor Rozier-Byrd rounded out the finishers for Boston College. Walsh ran a 27:21 (115th), Lesniak ran a 27:29 (123rd) and Rozier-Byrd ran a 27:50 (157th).
The men's XC team will run at the Mayor's Cup on October 29th at Franklin Park in Boston.
