Ben Eaves Named National Player Of The Month

Wakefield, Mass. - Ben Eaves (Faribault, Minn.), a senior center and captain of the men's hockey team, has been selected as the College Sports Television (CSTV)/Hockey Commissioners' Association (HCA) National Division I Player of the Month for December.
In leading the Eagles to a perfect 4-0 record during the month, Eaves scored 10 points (two goals, eight assists), more than any player in Hockey East. He posted multiple points in all four games and had a hand in 10 of BC's 15 goals in the month.
Eaves recorded three assists in each of BC's first two December games, wins over BU and Harvard. He then recorded two goals and two assists in two games at the Great Lakes Invitational in Detroit, earning all-tournament team honors.
