The Boston College sailing team is ranked seventh in the nation among coed teams, according to the Intercollegiate Sailing Association (ICSA) poll. The squad will begin its spring season on March 6-7 at the McIntyre Team Race in Palo Alto, California.
The Eagles earned their ranking in large part due to a pair of strong showings in November events. On November 15, BC competed in the weather-shortened Atlantic Coast Dinghy Championships and finished sixth in the field. November 28-30, the Eagles won the Timme Angsten Memorial Regatta at the Chicago Yacht Club, leading the three-day event wire-to-wire.
