The BIG EAST Names Alison Shepp Rookie Of The Week

Chestnut Hill, Mass. - After a breakout performance at the Holy Cross Crusaders Classic, The BIG EAST honored Alison Shepp (Schaumburg, Ill.) as Rookie of the Week.

Boston College swept through the Classic, winning all three matches in three games a piece. Shepp showed to be a huge factor on both offense and defense. Skillful as a middle-blocker and right side hitter, Shepp hit .584, and made only one error during the three matches. The freshman recorded 25 kills, five digs, five block assists and one service ace.
