The Boston College men's basketball team will play each of its 13 BIG EAST opponents at least once this season, according to an announcement by the league office. The Eagles will play three teams -- Providence, St. John's and Seton Hall -- twice.
Boston College's 16 BIG EAST games combine with its 13 non-league contests to complete the 2003-04 schedule.
The Eagles open the season with a three-game trip to the U.S. Virgin Islands. Boston College begins league play with a Tuesday, January 6 home game against Georgetown. On Saturday, January 10, BC meets Syracuse in its first BIG EAST road game.
A January 20 nationally-televised home contest against North Carolina State will mark the Eagles' only non-league game once conference action commences. ESPN2 will televise the game from Conte Forum.
Times of all conference games will be released as soon as they are confirmed.
