Big East Conference Releases Preseason Volleyball Poll

The BIG EAST Volleyball Preseason Poll ranked Boston College 12th overall for the 2003 season. The Eagles finished the 2002 campaign with a 14-18 record.

BC welcomed new volleyball head coach Andrea Leonard last month. Leonard is the former associate head coach of New Hampshire, leaving after five years of service. The Wildcats won America East titles in 1998 and 2002.

Notre Dame gained nine votes to earn the top spot in the BIG EAST poll, while Miami finished just behind with four first-place votes. Both the Irish and the Hurricanes had two players named to the Preseason All-BIG EAST Team.
