Nate Doornekamp Playing For Team Canada

Boston College junior center Nate Doornekamp has been selected to the Canadian Development Men's Team that will compete in the 2003 World University Games in Daegu, South Korea from August 21-31.
Among those joining Doornekamp on the 11-man Canadian roster is former Providence College player Romuald Augustin. The team will be led by head coach Kevin Hanson.
Doornekamp has played with the Development Team each of the last three summers. In 2001, the team earned a sixth-place finish in the World University Games in Beijing, China.
The Odessa, Ontario resident averaged 3.3 points and 4.0 rebounds per game for the Eagles this past winter. He started all 31 games.
